and to answer your question no. no information has been altered over the course of history. The church has already admittted to any wrongs that they have done and sacred teachings of jesus have been perserved.

if i were to say that the church at one point did not seek power i would be lieng, but that was certain people in the church doing that becuase they wanted power for themselves. have poeple in the church abused their authority? certainly. But that always has happened with humans becuase we are not perfect. You misunderstand. What Jesus and the Apostle wrote could very much be true. But the question is, has the information been altered over the course of history? Historically, it by far proven that the church had great ambition for wealth and power. Jerusalem is a perfect example.

As I said, Paul never said anything about men living in a loving relationship. He condemned male prostitutes, those sleeping around and those men who raped boys.

Listen, the apostles were humans, they could have put their own oppinions into the bible.
There were times when jesus and the apostles didnt agree. For example when the woman came to him and gave him a foot massage with a valuble oil. The apostles thought that she wasted it, but Jesus said that she had the right to show him appreciation.
Thus, the bible is perhaps most of what Jesus told but it has to be interpreted wisely, not to misunderstand it as we so many times have done.

Listern Jesus taught the apostles and what they preached is what he preached. Sex is not love. You can not just pick and choose what Jesus and the Bible teaches. Homosexuality is contradictory to Jesus’s teachings and you know it.
